About Us

Amory Main Street is an accredited program of the Mississippi Main Street Association and the National Main Street America network. Our work is rooted in the four points of the Main Street Program: Economic Development, Promotion, Organization, and Historic Preservation.

Amory is a proud railroad town with a strong sense of community and resilience. From preserving our history to supporting local businesses and hosting family-friendly festivals, Amory Main Street strives to make downtown a place where everyone feels welcome.

Our people are loyal, hardworking, and full of pride for their hometown. Whether it’s gathering for Chilifest, lining the streets for the Christmas Parade, or celebrating our heritage at the Railroad Festival, there’s always something bringing Amory together.

We are proud to be part of the nationwide Main Street movement, working to revitalize small towns across America while keeping the heart of our community thriving right here in Amory.
