Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial 5k Race

The Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial Race features a timed 5K through downtown Amory and around Frisco Park, welcoming runners and walkers of all experience levels. Held during National Law Enforcement Memorial Week, the race provides a visible and unified show of support for fallen officers and their families across our region.

Participants can also take part in the Be the Badge – Line of Duty Challenge, a ¼-mile interactive strength course around Frisco Park. This untimed challenge includes movement stations at each corner — air squats, pushups, jumping jacks, burpees, and a farmer’s carry to the finish. Designed to be engaging and approachable, the challenge focuses on effort, camaraderie, and giving participants a small glimpse of the physical demands officers train for.

Together, the 5K and challenge create an active, meaningful way for the community to honor service, demonstrate unity, and stand in support of those who protect and serve.
